Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• University degree in English language, translation, healthcare, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in live interpretation (preferably in medical or health-related settings)

•  Excellent command of English and Arabic (spoken and written).

• Proven familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare concepts.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong computer skills (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.) 

General Description of the Role & Main Responsibilities:

• Provide live (simultaneous and/or consecutive) interpretation (English ↔ Arabic) during online seminars conducted in English by medical professionals

• Accurately and clearly translate medical content related to reproductive, maternal, newborn, and general healthcare.

• Assist in verbal communication between international trainers/speakers and hospital health personnel.

• Support Q&A sessions by interpreting queries from Arabic to English and responses from English to Arabic.

• Coordinate with the seminar organizers and the hospital’s health officers for scheduling and technical setup.

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism throughout all sessions.Produce reports for specific needs aimed at enhancing efficiency, effectiveness and reliability of the decision-making protocols.
