Minimum requirements:
- Education:
- University degree in one of the disciplines relevant to the following areas: Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geology, Hydrology, Sanitation Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
- Post graduate degree in WASH or Public Health related subjects is an asset.
- Additional training in Data Analysis, Health Education or Communication for Development (Programme Communication), is an asset.
- Work Experience:
- A minimum of one year of professional experience in WASH-related programmes is required mainly in the following fields:
- Rehabilitation and Restoration of Drinking Water Supply Systems, including Treatment Plants, Pumping Stations, Reservoirs, and Water Networks.
- Rehabilitation and Restoration of Sanitation Services, including Sewage Networks and associated Treatment Plants and Facilities.
- National government WASH policies, plans and strategies.
- Humanitarian WASH, including Preparedness, Response, and Recovery in scenarios related to water-borne diseases outbreaks, drought-like conditions, and massive internal displacements
- Water Quality Monitoring including disinfectants and treatment procedures.

- Experience in an international or national humanitarian organization is an asset.
- Experience working in Northeast of Syria and Deir Ez Zor is considered an asset.
- Language Requirements:
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic is essential.
